I love metronomes, too. I used to spend more time playing with it than actually practicing. Hey, I recognize those vases! I have some just like them...

That looks like a week full of good reading! One Hundred Years of Solitude is probably my favorite book ever. Capote isn't my typical cup of tea (or coffee) but I liked In Cold Blood. Also, Oliver Sacks wrote Anthropologist from Mars, which is phenomenal. VERY interesting. I haven't read this one. Might need to check the library. I'm in need of some solid procrastination fodder.

Sorry, I know you weren't asking for reviews...couldn't help it. ; )

Rachel - the boys certainly don't act sweeter, but they still look the part every once in a while. I couldn't resist the dirty toes. :)

Vern - OMG, flatulent is an understatement. My friend Becky calls him Sir Toots A Lot. He didn't get that from ME of course... Moose doesn't seem to notice (and he wasn't in his kennel). That dog can clear a room with his farts, so human farts are pretty tame by comparison - even Travis'.

That bottom picture of Trav is so sweet! I was just looking at pictures of Ben, thinking that the sweetness might not be around in his pictures much longer. It's glad to see that even as the boys get bigger, they just get sweeter! :)
